     – Automobile training 

     – Computer training 

     – Handloom and textile training 

     – Micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) development

– Agriculture and agro based industries such as horticulture, tea and rubber plantations, bio-diesel production and handicrafts.  This should be used to promote the traditional Assamese crafts like silk weaving, brass crafting etc, besides enabling self-employment with small entrepreneurship development in these or similar local industries.

 

3. Promotion of Arts and Culture

– For the protection and promotion of fine arts, visual arts, performing arts, and mass media through educational programmes, awareness camps, and workshops.  The establishment of schools and institutions
which train people for traditional folk dance, music, drama, and other cultural activities shall encourage these.

4. Environmental Awareness and Sustainability

– Environmental conservation through biodiversity, made aware through sensitization workshops/exhibitions. School clubs sensitized.

 To plant sapling through tree-plantation exercises and to facilitate satellite nurseries of saplings around the area or state and have the public planted.

 Development of research proposals for pollution solutions, solid and liquid waste and water conservation exercises.

– To promote the use of alternative, cost-effective, and pollution-free biofuels, imparting education and training for their utilization.

5. Rural and Cottage Industry Development

   – To promote household industries such as tailoring, embroidery, knitting, poultry, piggery, and other cottage industries for rural self-sufficiency.

– To promote khadi and gramudyog industries, forest resource development, and local handicraft production.
